Graphic Designer

A graphic designer is responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact. The role involves listening to clients and understanding their needs before making design decisions. 

A graphic designer works to a brief agreed with the client, creative director or account manager.
They develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the client's objectives. The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
  • A graphic designer's job may involve managing more than one design brief at a time and allocating the relevant amount of time according to the value of the job. Typical activities include: meeting with clients, account manager or art director to discuss the objectives and requirements of the job
  • Interpreting the client's business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose
  • Estimating the time required to complete the work
  • Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research

Account Executive

Advertising account executives work within advertising or multi-service agencies, acting as a link between clients and the agency. They are responsible for liaising between the client and other agency staff to coordinate advertising campaigns.

Advertising account executives liaise closely with their clients throughout campaigns, often on a daily basis.
They manage administrative and campaign work, ensuring that this is all completed on time and on budget.

The role can involve handling up to four client accounts or, in larger agencies, just one or two accounts.

Advertising account executives usually report to an account manager.
  • Advertising account executives contribute to and develop advertising campaigns. Tasks typically involve
  • Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements
  • Working with agency colleagues to devise an advertising campaign that meets the client's brief and budget
  • Ppresenting, alongside agency colleagues (particularly the account manager), the campaign ideas and budget to the client
  • Working with the account manager to brief media, creative and research staff, and assisting with the formulation of marketing strategies
  • Liaising with, and acting as the link between, the client and advertising agency by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively
  • Negotiating with clients and agency staff about the details of campaigns
  • Presenting creative work to clients for approval or modification
  • Handling budgets, managing campaign costs and invoicing clients
  • Writing client reports
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Undertaking administration tasks
  • Arranging and attending meetings

Marketing Specialist

The marketing specialist assists in innovative marketing and supplement tasks like public relations and promotion. To create awareness and desire for the product with a creative approach is the key aim of the marketing specialist. He/she studies the designs, logos, promotional materials like flyers, posters, banners, advertisements, newsletters etc and modifies them if necessary. Content and pictorial data are both equally important to create to compliment the campaign and business objectives/ policies.
Handling the annual marketing budget, assigning a new budget for the coming year and working within the budget is another vital duty.

Apart from these, training interns is also his/her responsibility.
  • Organizational skills: To keep the work organized and well distributed among the team members
  • Time management skills: Ability to prioritize urgent and important tasks, and to accomplish them in time
  • Multi tasking skills: His/her duties may be to perform multiple tasks and projects within a time frame. Multi tasking with quality work is essential
  • Leadership skills: To lead and mentor the marketing team to collective work for a project
  • Creative and innovative skills: To make a campaign/package/content, etc like never before and that grabs attention
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop content and report to the executives, also to interact with subordinates and team mates regularly
  • Computing skills: Along with basic computing must also know research techniques and software of data storing and image editing, to visualize campaigns and polish the creative outcomes
  • Product and campaign analyzing skills: To study the previous and present product and their campaign, to analyze its strengths and weaknesses and report the concluding data
  • Brainstorming skills: To create a creative or innovative idea or solution
  • Problem solving skills: To deal with daily issues and past campaign issues of the product/ company

Social Media Specialist

  • Focus on the daily administration of all current social media channels for all brands using the social media dashboard in English and Chinese.
  • Social Media channels include: Facebook, Twitter, Wechat, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other channels as they are developed.
  • Develop the repositories of posts based on the strategy for each brand following the Social Media Matrix as a roadmap.
  • Create and implement graphic designs that adhere to brand standards for: Posts, cover photos, profile pictures, shared images, etc.
  • Generate ad-hoc or off-the-cuff video content that adhere to brand standards for: Social media posts, YouTube and Vimeo channels.
  • Monitor social network metrics, and collect raw data to analysis and comparison, and write reports.
  • Follow, respond and control the voice of social media channel according to feedback.
  • Interpreting account briefs, researching clients, their competitors and the target audience.
  • Producing original, clear and credible ideas/messages/scripts, and presenting these to clients and colleagues.
  • Liaising with clients and colleagues, and meeting project teams to consider advertising requirements.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
  • 1+ years of experience in Social Media and/or Internet Marketing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese). This is especially important when responding directly to customer inquiries.
  • Enthusiasm for internet marketing and advertising industries
  • Extensive knowledge in Social Media and SEO
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and Web metrics
  • Proven track record of driving traffic and increasing rankings via Social Media
  • Basic graphic design and web design knowledge is an asset
  • A working knowledge of CMS systems (Content Management Systems), especially Wordpress
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment, and is open to collaboration across marketing groups
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate on social platforms in a consistent brand voice
  • Relevant work experience or education an asset
  • A power user of social medial, you should have active profiles on all the major channels
